When does my service contract take effect?

The effective date of your plan depends on which plan you selected. In many instances, the effective date of the plan is the same as the date you sign the plan contract — in other words, coverage is immediate. In other cases, your coverage starts 30 days after you sign the plan contract. Your customer portal's main page will tell you which is applicable in your case.
