How does DriveClub's Identity Theft Coverage work?

What is it?
Get alerts about suspicious activity and receive needed support when personal information is stolen and misused. This identity theft coverage gives you access to monitoring for your Social Security Number (SSN), up to 10 credit and debit cards, and up to 10 bank accounts in underground chat rooms, websites, and blogs where identity thieves sell and trade stolen data. If your information is discovered, you’ll receive an alert.
Where can I use it?
You’ll have access to a resolution service providing personalized assistance in the event you become a victim of identity fraud. You’ll be assigned a dedicated caseworker who will work with you to help restore your identity.
Why is it here?
This benefit helps to mitigate the risks and consequences of identity theft. While it can't prevent identity theft entirely, it can alert you to suspicious activity early on and provide support in restoring your identity if it's compromised.
